Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

Enjoyed the banana creme pie and strawberry cheesecake ice cream on a waffle cone and loved it!

Best ice cream in the world just be careful some of the flavors that are online are not in the store call before making the trip if your are far away.

The line looked long but went by quick. My first time here and lucky to find out it was 2.50 single scoops on Tuesdays! They have a lot of flavors to choose from and you order from a window. Didn't seem like sampling is a thing. But I got the coffee chocolate chip, no regrets. It was so good! I would come back if I'm in the area ! So yummy 😋

Almost half the price of Coldstone and 3x the taste why would anyone go anywhere else. The ice cream has so much flavor. My first but hopefully not my last visit

Great homemade ice cream, not just the standard flavors. We drive by and there is always a line. We ordered the blueberry cobbler and chocolate raspberry truffle, delicious!

Biggest problem with this place if you easily fall in love with one of the first flavors you try, to the point that you struggle to shake things up and try one of their many other flavors the next time you're there. The ice cream here is good! Interesting flavors, and high quality. My favorite is the birthday cake, but I love all things overly sugary. The lines can get long but they knock them down pretty quickly.

I can't believe the amount they give in one scoop, it looks like 3 scoops, I got cherry & there was a cherry in every bite, the line was fairly long but went pretty quick. First time there, I was impressed!

Hands down the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Creamy and full of flavor. Real fruit, chocolate, or anything else they include. Traditional and unique flavors. Lots of fun sundaes and sandwiches as well. Tuesday's have specials on scoops.The line is always long so expect to wait at least 10 min especially on hot weekends. 100% worth the wait

Ice cream is crave worthy! People working the counter are super nice and helpful with suggestions. Tuesdays are 1/2 off scoop days...bonus!! I ordered the vanilla with nutter butter and had big chunks of cookies...so good!!

I don't know what is all the fuss about. Regular tasted ice cream, not many varieties, at expensive price. You can go to Sprouts and have dozens of variation much better prices. And Oriental and Mediterranean markets sell the best like saffron ice cream etc. Rite Aid has award winning ice cream much much cheaper and more delicious.

Hands down the best ice cream in all of southern California. Their flavors are so good and rich it's unreal! Everything is handmade. They don't just buy ice cream and serve it. They make it and you could definitely taste the difference between Handle's ice cream and everyone else's. They have quite literally ruined ice cream for me because of how good it is. It is quite a ways off the nearest freeway (110/405) but it is definitely worth the drive there. Once you have it, you won't want any other ice cream.

Can't go wrong with this place ! Parking can be difficult at times but nevertheless , food is great, ice cream is to die for and service has always been fast and friendly. Very clean as well.

It's hard to beat this South Bay staple for quality and sheer number of flavors. Graham Central Station and Blueberry Cobbler are perennial favorites. Always a line, but the cashiers are good at keeping it moving. Counter service and limited outdoor seating only. Order ahead for ice cream pies and cakes. Freshly packed quarts and pints available for take away.

They have the best ice cream ever.. I really enjoy their fabulous desserts.. Everytime I be close to their business.. I always have to stop by and get they're famous ice cream..

This place lives up to the hype. The choices for flavor is out of this world. I’m a chocolate lover so I choose a few chocolate favors. It tastes like they use whole ingredients. I did get the grumpy man the first time but the second time we got someone very pleasant who served us.

Their service is outstanding. They are also very helpful and kind with ice cream selection and at a great value for the quality of their ice cream. We decided to try the Graham Grand central and the Banana Cream Pie and both were very good. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in the area.

The ice cream is always 5 stars. The service is hit and miss. Expect to wait in a line, especially on Tuesdays! Also, this location offers frosty paws for sale, while other locations (Carlsbad) offer FREE doggiecones with each human order.

We came from Virginia for vacation and found this place close to the Pier. Hands down, best ice cream that we've had. Highly recommend the chocolate Handel pop and Graham central Station!

It was okay...not sure what the long lines were about. The ice cream was okay. Also, bummed when you wait in a long line and they are out of the flavor you requested.

I'm from the part of Ohio where Handel's is from, and I didn't even know they existed outside the Midwest. Imagine my surprise to learn that not only are they in the part of California I moved to, they're also somewhat of a local favorite. Handel's is great for their large list of flavors. We visited on a Friday night, and there was a decent line to wait in. There are a few tables and benches around, but Handel's doesn't have an inside dining area; you order at a window. Not too expensive for the amount of ice cream you get.

Tuesday is discount night. Go for a buck and change off the normal price for a single scoop. 🍦

Worth every second of the wait, most amazing Ice Cream ever!!! Loved the Malt and the Mint Chocolate!!!

First time visitor--staff friendly and helpful, suggested that I get a cup and spoon (free) with my single scoop sugar cone ice cream. Single scoop was more like a double scoop and started melting after a while, so cup and spoon was helpful to avoid dripping. My mocha ice cream tasted like dark chocolate which was yummy to me since I love dark chocolate and my girlfriend loved her cherry vanilla with lots of cherries.

I felt like I was a kid back then. I like brownie ice cream and yogurt. I think it was all good. I haven't try it all, place was great and has a lot of flavor choose as well. This place was favorite of all and good customer service.

It's a great place for icecreams. They have a huge variety list. Theres generally a big line specially on Tuesdays bcus of half the price on single scoops. My fav here Banana Split..yum yum!😍😋
